FOR ACCEPTANCE OF GIFTS / DONATIONS TO THE CITY

 

1.         RESOLUTION 12-27 - GIFT FROM THE PALEHUA COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION.         Relating to the acceptance of gift to the City from the Palehua Community        Association for a security camera system, equipment and installation at the     Makakilo Community Park valued at $6,772.64. (Transmitted by             Communication D-39; Action deferred at 2/7/12 and 2/28/12 PCA meetings)

 

2.         RESOLUTION 12-28 - GIFT FROM THE PALEHUA COMMUNITY              ASSOCIATION.  Relating to the acceptance of a gift to the City from the Palehua       Community Association for a security camera system, equipment and          installation for Palailai Neighborhood Park, valued at $4,192.59.  (Transmitted by             Communication D- 40); Action deferred at 2/7/12 and 2/28/12 PCA meetings)

 

3.         RESOLUTION 12-126 – GIFT FROM TOM KLOBE AND DELMARIE MOTTA      KLOBE.   Relating to the acceptance of a gift of artwork from Tom Klobe and Delmarie Motta Klobe to the City for the Art in City Buildings        collection of the City and County of Honolulu managed by the Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts,    valued at $7,375. 4.         RESOLUTION 12-128 – GIFT FROM HUNT DEVELOPMENT GROUP, LLC.       Relating to the acceptance of a gift to the City for the Mayor’s Memorial Day    Ceremony held on    May 28, 2012 from the Hunt Development Group, LLC, for         $5,000. (Transmitted by Communication D-362) 

 

5.         RESOLUTION 12-129 – GIFT FROM HAWAII USA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION. Relating to the acceptance of a gift of $1,500 from Hawaii USA Federal Credit Union            to the City for the Mayor’s Memorial Day Ceremony held on May 28, 2012.       (Transmitted by Communication D-363)

 

6.         RESOLUTION 12-135 – GIFT FROM FRANK COLUCCIO CONSTRUCTION.      Relating to the acceptance of a gift to the City from Frank Coluccio Construction of     hot mix for a new parking lot at Newtown Neighborhood Park valued in the amount of $27,849.76.  (Transmitted by Communication D-375)

 

 

 

 

7.         RESOLUTION 12-148 – GIFT FROM PARSONS, BRINCKERHOFF, INC.            Relating to the acceptance of a gift of $2,500 to the City from Parsons Brinckerhoff,   Inc. for the Mayor’s Memorial Day Ceremony which was held on May 28, 2012.                    (Transmitted by Communication D-433)

8.         RESOLUTION 12-136 – INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE        REDUCTION AND CONTROL OF FERAL ANIMALS AT THE HONOLULU        BOTANICAL GARDENS SYSTEM.  Authorizing the Director of Parks and     Recreation to enter into an amendment to an Intergovernmental Agreement with the             United States Department of Agriculture for the reduction and control of feral animals           at the Honolulu Botanical Gardens System.  (Transmitted by Communication D-378)

 

9.         BILL 38 (2012), CD1 – RELATING TO PARKS.   The purpose of this ordinance is             to regulate expressive activities in public parks. (Bill 38 (2012), CD1 passed second       reading and public hearing held on 5/19/2012; Action deferred at 5/22/12 PCA          meeting)

 

PROPOSED CD2 TO BILL 38 (2012), CD1 – The CD2 amends the Bill as follows:

 

A.        Deletes the Exhibit A map and instead uses street boundary descriptions of              the areas of Kapiolani Park that require a permit when the expressive activity                      involves 150 or more persons.

 

B.        Clarifies that expressive activities in areas of Kapiolani Regional Park
                        outside the areas specified in Section 10-1.3(a) (5) (A) require a permit when                       the expressive activity involves 75 or more persons.

 

C.        Makes miscellaneous technical and nonsubstantive amendments.

10.       BILL 11 (2012), CD1 – RELATING TO PUBLIC PARKS.  The purpose of this        ordinance is   to address commercial activities at certain city beach parks.  (Bill 11       (2012), CD1 passed second reading and public hearing held on 5/9/12; Action         deferred at 5/22/12 PCA meeting)
